The Centre for Policing, Intelligence and Counter Terrorism would like to welcome our new Academic Director, Associate Professor Cindy Davids

 
Associate Professor Cindy Davids is the newly-appointed Academic Director in the Macquarie University Centre for Policing, Intelligence and Counter Terrorism. Cindy has a rich and varied academic background with interdisciplinary research and teaching experience encompassing education, law, criminology (with a particular emphasis on policing), legal regulation, professional and public sector ethics, and social and critical perspectives on accounting.  She has a PhD from UNSW Law School where she studied conflict of interest in policing, a Masters Degree in Law and Policy, Bachelor of Arts with Honours (Legal studies), a Diploma of Education from LaTrobe University, and she recently completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Corruption Studies at Hong Kong University.

PGCTS (Postgraduate Certificate in Transport Security) - Designed to provide students with an overall historical and theoretical understanding of Transport Security, Risk Management and Threat Mitigation process a it applies to both the aviation and maritime sectors.

PGDCF (Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Forensic) - Designed to both equip students with an overall understanding of the theory underpinning this discipline and to develop a level of professional awareness of potential security risk associated with Information Technology.
