Welcome to our Academic Program. The Centre offers rigorous academic programs based on current research, theory and practice. Academic study is available, leading to the progressive awards of Certificate, Diploma or Master on either Policing, Intelligence and Counter Terrorism (MPICT) or International Security Studies (MISS). All academic programs are available on campus and via distance education.

Learning Modes

All of the Centre’s course work academic programs are available in a range of flexible learning modes (on-campus lectures / workshops / seminars, e-learning, flexible entry / attendance times / part-time and full-time).

Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Forensics

The PGDCF is designed to both equip students with an overall understanding of the theory underpinning this discipline and to develop a level of professional awareness of potential security risk associated with Information Technology.

Specific minimum requirements:

  • Core of 16 credit points from PICT819, PICT820, PICT821 and PICT822
  • Option of 8 credit points from PICT823, PICT824, PICT825, PICT826 and PICT816
